‘Billy’ as he’s known affectionately at The Shack first started buying tunes back in 1986. He got into the rave culture bigstyle in 1989 going to Zanies and raves in various locations.
In 1991 Billy got his first decks and started mixing. Then in 1992 he started playing out Zanies, Keats, Patsy’s & Court Jester, as well as raves fort Vic and the chicken farm where he literally ‘smashed it’.
He then entered a ‘short’ and well needed retirement between 1998 to 2005 to recharge his batteries and live in the real world, but then started to start playing on Wight Party radio and then Dex FM, as well as playing pit parties and hosting memorable nights at the Vectis in Cowes.
Billy then took on a five-year residency at the legion in Cowes whilst also playing private parties in the Plessy Club, Moo Cow, Cowes Sports FC and many others.
One of the first DJ’s at the Shack, Billy has been with us since the start and will no doubt be with us until the end!
