When Ronnie was just 13 the dance music underground scene was well underway, and he was captivated by the many DJs that were performing on the Island.
The underground parties thrown at that time inspired him and he fell in love with the music but could not afford a set of turntables of his own. Getting by with a set of tape decks and a mixer he mixed tapes for a while until he could afford a decent set of turntables and finally got his first set of belt drives and started on his DJ journey.
Ronnie then entered the real world as an electricians’ mate and saved and saved until he could afford his first set of 1210’s, and he still has those turntables 18 years later, and they’ve never, ever let him down. Ronnie says of his 1210’s; “They are, the DJs tool – the true essence of a real DJ.”
